I need to get a suit for job interviews, and looking online it didnt take me long to realize I dont know anything about suits.

I have a friend who works in fashion and I was going to get her to help me, but I also want to know stuff on my own too.

is there an infographic or does anyone want to tell me where and what are good buys? like pic related, except with what stores are reputable, and what price ranges are too high/low

If it helps, I am 5'8" master race, hail from /fit/, so I'm in pretty good shape (~13% bodyfat 160 lbs, between ottermode and athletic, aiming for athletic and 165-170 lbs and 10% bf by fall). I'm graduating next winter with a degree in engineering, but may want to work outside of industry for a while. Thinking CIA, DoD, DEA, etc.

Check the sticky, it's very informative for a good start. You're right about not buying all at once. Build your basic wardrobe 1-3 items at a time and experiment with brand. For me basic upper wears are Uniqlo and for pants, go with Levi's and Dockers

hey /fa/. I'm 18 and I'm really trying to transition from basketball shorts/jeans/t shirts to obviously a more grown man look.
Right now i'm starting with very little that would be considered that, and I'm on around a $500-600 budget.
So basically what I'm saying is, what should be the FIRST things I should look for and purchase? What do you consider mandatory for any good wardrobe? any help is appreciated.

I own some weird clothing (pattern shirts, pattern cardigans, dick ovens shoes,nxt lvl shit in general)

and I realized that I don't own any of the basics (pic related) heck I don't even own a suit

I'm planning on saving money and going on a shopping spree to buy all of the basics but I feel like it's basically going to be half a basic menswear wardrobe and half a nxlvl raffsimonsanddickovensisussuallywhatI'mdressedin wardrobe
