Nigga a harrington jacket or a blouson should be as basic as it fucking gets. You can still find loads of them from the 60s all the way to the 90s in British thrift stores. Indistinguishable quality from Baracuta too. Baracuta is not quality by any stretch

>> No.18100549

just get a ben sherman one. i got one on sale for like uh..50 dollars i think, and it looks and feels exactly the same as a baracuta. i think buying a baracuta jacket is more of a flex than anything, i mean if you have the money to blow great, but youre paying for the name and just to be able to show it at parties or something to flex on poor ppl. kinda like ppl who would pay 800 dollars or something for a fear of god hoodie when its not even as high quality as a 50 dollar carhartt hoodie

Look up vintage LL Bean Harrington jackets on eBay, then size down one because they're cut huge.
Nearly if not completely equal in quality and durability, wide variety of colors, easy to find for well under $100

Ignore the first two retards ITT. Its a fucking harrington jacket, not some sort of mythical cloak. Just use google.

they don't cost what they do because of materials or labor.
they cost what they do because a wog fashion company bought them and banks on retards being willing to overpay.

Son of a Stag sells them for about $350. Can find them on Ebay for $275 from some limey who got them three years ago from when END clothing sold them for $190 in a huge sale. And END clothing now sells them for $350 after an app coupon. You're not looking hard enough, OP.

Natural and Navy are the staple G9 colors. Red is cool too. Red, or even dark red, not the Chilli Pepper shit Baracuta came out with this year.

Last time I cheked, the made in Englang retailed for just ubder 400. The made in Romania, which are virtually indistinguishable from the MiE, could be got on sale for about 275 and you could get them on ebay used in good condition for 80-90.
They're nice jackets, well made and have a great fit, but they're not 400 nice, much less 500. If you want name brand, then pay name brand or dig deeper. If you just want a reasonabily priced but decent harrington, as the other anon pointed, Ben Sherman sells a pretty good one for way less.
Also a lot of brands carry a harrington of some sort. You can look for a brand you like and it's on a price range you're comfortable with and check their catalog.
