I apologize for yet another prom thread, but I need to consult some experts who will tell me like it is. I recently bought some tuxes from ASOS and I’ve taken pictures for you viewing pleasure. The top row is a black jacket with matching pants, the middle row is the black jacket with better fitting pants (not exactly same material), and the bottom row is a navy jacket with matching pants. Please excuse the shoes. I bought them before I found out.

Jacket: Should I stick with the black or navy one? I’m leaning towards the black because the navy has a shawl lapel. Also, the construction of the suit in the armpit feels like shit. It comes down awkwardly low which then makes lifting up my arms exaggerate the shoulder padding. Is that enough reason to find another jacket? (I was also considering this http://www.hallensteins.com/set/Skinny-Tux-Set?i=42))

Shirt: I’m wearing a nice fitting oxford in the pictures; however, do I want to buy something classier? Something with pleats or, dare I say, collar wings?

Pants: Do I need that satin stripe? The ASOS pants didn’t come with it (I suspect they’re not actually tux pants). Should I try to find another pair of pants to match with the jacket? Or should I stick to the same materials? I like the pants in the middle row; however, they aren’t a perfect match as you can see.

Underwear: I wear American Eagle boxers.

Shoes: Once again, disregard the shoes in the picture. I bought them for homecoming a few years ago and I’ve only recently been enlightened as to their shitiness. To save money, I’m thinking about renting some shiny shoes from Men’s Warehouse. Yes?

Tie: Going to buy a black bowtie. Anything I should know about this?

Ect.: Any recommendations for eau de toilette? What will make my lady wet? I read an infograph and I plan on checking out ‘Armani Code Black’ next time I hit up the mall. And what about cuff links?

Thanks /fa/.

Jacket's too small, it's too tight around your waist. Sleeve is too long. You need tailoring.

Instead of buying online I think you need to visit retail and do your fitting there.

Get classic leather belt. You don't wear chunky belt with formal.

Yes, the sleeve are ridiculous. I'm returning one of the jackets so I haven't gotten them tailored yet.

Nah, that's my chunky belt. So IYO, find a better jacket?

You won't find any "better jacket" out there merely by ordering online.

Jacket must be fitted, tailored, customized to your own body. No off-the-rack jacket can fit you unless if you're average build; and you're not one.

Alright, thanks. Would you recommend tailoring what I have, just renting, or finding something looser and tailoring that? Being a high school student, getting a custom fitted jacket is out of the question.
