Post your fit and I'll take it into consideration, I suspect like most people you've got a higher opinion of it than it deserves though. Every person in that aforementioned image likely believes they're not doing anything wrong too. Even in the image there are some who have their tablets raised somewhat so their neck/back isn't too bad-but now they're having to maintain their arm raised with no support causing tension in the shoulders. At the end of the day it is indisputable that a flat tablet is better for your long term drawing health than a screen is, but some ways of using a screen are better than others in that regard, certainly.

Why would you ever consider limiting yourself to a phone? Even something like an ipad is bad enough being so much smaller than a conventional monitor screen but going out of your way to buy a phone for the specific purpose of drawing is absolutely outlandish to me.

Over 70% of non-display tablets shouldn't even exist, but the ones that have earned that right represent a better way to draw than hunched over an angled screen or suspending your arm mid air to draw on a raised one ever could. It's one of those things precious few people could understand, having never experienced it themselves.

anyway...

>that pristine intuos pro I bought is showing very visible wear after a few hours of drawing total with basically minimal pressure applied
>the stylus is already worn down to a sharp point

bruh

Even with the replaceable surface, I was never a fan of this planned obsolescence "realistic texture" shit both in theory and in practice but it seems like it's worse now than ever. I'm going to draw with this for a month and see what it looks and feels like in the end compared to what it looks like when I first got it.
