Anyone else eyeing up the newer windows tablets for drawing? Specifically:
>Minisforum V3 (uses MPP2.0)
>LincStudio S1 (uses Wacom EMR)
I’m waiting to see someone test the Minisforum for drawing, test line quality etc. It would be the perfect tablet if it wasn’t using the windows pen protocol(which 5 years ago was the worst I had ever tried), but it’s gen 2 so maybe it’s better? On paper it’s pen specs are fine but I need to see this tested before I trust anything.
The LincStudio uses Wacom’s EMR but doesn’t have the other bells and whistles that would make it an all-purpose machine for me.
The iPad Pro has spoiled me at 120HZ for drawing but it’s starting to run into limitations for animation work.
The Minisforum would be able to do basically everything for me for a pretty long time for a decent price if the pen is actually GOOD.
