The most outrageous thing here is that he's not even good at using AI.
That word salad he's using is fucking pointless and just bad prompting. You can also use inpainting with one or two words to get the result you want.
He's not even good at emulating the illusion of creation and then has the audacity to speak as if he has some great artistic skill above rest of the peasants.

The original definitely needs work with appeal, expressions and posing, but it has charm. AIslop feels boring, on an uncanny cliff of going for and against realism with no thought behind the design. The face in particular looks like a Pixar kid, which makes the rest of the figure appear weird in.juxtaposition.

Short answer: he didn't paint any of this, so any potential improvement or appeal is drastically reduced.

Long answer: even if these were two digital paintings made by a human, their execution isn't attention-catching. And the improvement isn't noticable.
1) The two pictures differ in light, style and setting, but nothing is potentially improved upon. I'd argue the opposite. It's kinda pointless to boast about the pros of AI art when the latest product came out shittier.
2) The stylistic choice is denigrated from 1 to 2. It looks like a romance novel cover, complete with bad color grading and photograph background.
3) The face of the second pic is a pretty unfortunate byproduct of an overreliance on realism and not knowing shit about lighting. When you have this (stock) pose, you want to exude confidence and appeal. The eye is automatically drawn to the lightest areas - thigh, top of her boobs and lower arm. While it's fine to make your stuff sexually tittilating, rendering her face in shadow made the expression weaker and uninteresting. The first pic had some proportional issues, but at least the facial expression was more interesting.
4) The biggest tell that this is not "assistance" so much as a crutch is the capital L Lighting of the second pic. If the sun was setting in the back, there would be no reason for the bright shine in the front, which in itself is inconsistently rendered. If you don't know lighting, why the fuck would you """paint""" realism at all?
5) Most of all, it's just not that damn interesting. At least when actual comic book artists draw this corny shit, I know it requires some skill with india ink or tablets. It's unimpressive. People already shit on human-made photorealist art, so why would things be different when a machine does it?

The way the retard in the OP is using AI does indeed mean that he has given up on even trying to draw or be an artist.

However, there is imo nothing wrong with using AI to generate reference images etc that serve as inspiration for you or even incorporating elements from those images, not in some sort of copy paste way, but in the sense of "that looks good, I'mma draw something like that" way.

That is at least what I've done with a couple of my more recent drawings and have managed to improve the designs of my characters quite a lot by that method. Mostly by just improving the silouette, texturing and incorporating some elements I liked from the AI pictures I generated.

"hand crafted" is a powerful marketing gimmick for increasing the perceived value of a thing. Using "real" effects and stunts in movies can be the main reason it receives high praise and appeals to it's audience. i tried my hand at it too, i wanted to try to improve it without any drawing aid at all but its too much of a hassle for some shitpost. it would need some serious compositing.

but with drawing, you can very easily fix and guide anything you want to.
