it looks like he might have some sort of comic that was popular? I could probably match him on a technical level, but there are a lot more to someone's appeal than just pretty drawings. It looks like he is a more prolific than I am as well. I don't know what else he has done in the beginning that attracted such large following but there are usually some sort of meme that went viral, he also consistently output that kept his existing audience engaged.

While I have looked into his content that doesn't mean its possible for me to implement it, because there are usual some differences in terms of the type of people that like each artist contents. sometimes its more difficult to consistently come up with ideas that people find interested in than just being able to execute it.

I'll tell you: Im not trying hard enough.
Not only I got a very busy life where I dont have all the time to draw (worsened by the fact Im painfully slow to draw in the first place) but Im also out of focus on the things I could and should be doing: Im yet to fine my storytelling skills, my writing, make a content schedule to stick with and being overall active in social media, I've been on hiatus status since 2021 and rightfully so, Im still finishing my useless design degree, dealing with air conditioners on a literal daily basis and doing the occasional housework.

Im pretty sure if I apply myself, I'll be able to make some progress on my skills, the social media game and also reach the stupid dream of making that light novel for people to enjoy... or at very least make my blondie reach internet waifu status by constantly shilling her.

I THINK making her not a chinlet by adding the contour of the face helps, as well as adding more mass to the bottom of the back of the skull, it generally looks like she doesn't have enough encephalitic mass because of how chunky her lower face is.

It was sort of a tutor teaching me how to be self-taught if that makes sense? He gave me a book that he used in his adolescence to learn, told me to draw references and then compare my drawing the result to train my eye. Thats mostly all that I did for my studying. That along with studying constructive methods for the human body and jump from method to method to eventually create my own amalgamation-method of everything I've learned.

In this order Gottfried Bammes (extremely well defined forms for beginners) -> Micheal Hampton (lots of constructive details for the human body) -> Bridgman (Only to understand movement and gesture, I would not recommend studying him for anatomy) then vilppu around the same time for the same reason as bridgman, but vilppu has good movement and methodology + anatomy.

21 in about two months. I started when I was 17/18. And a lot of it is about really using your mind when you learn. Never autopilot while learning, and never force yourself to draw for too long periods of time. I only did on average 1-2 hours a day study for that time frame.

And dont be so self-deprecating. I promise you wherever spot you are in now I was there as well. Most I could draw was a box in perspective. My everything-else sucked balls, and you can absolutely get here if you just put in the consistency and dedication. And one final piece of advice is to not get lost in study. Dont forget to reignite your soul with a personal piece however often your heart desires it, anon.
