I'm hyped as fuq for the anime. Japan seems to be too.

Also it just seems like the mods are just screwing with /a&jp/ for the laughs. I doubt they care where stuff goes this late in the game.

>>"the janitor (not a mod) banned me for X"

Not wrong. Janitors and mods are connected cock to ass 24/7 so they might as well be considered single beings.

Moot makes bank from the passes. I remember seeing that thread where someone asked him what he was doing with the pass money and demanded records. Moot got extremely butthurt and simply said "it's none of your damn business".

Which is true, but still that's code for saying "I'm using the money to pay for my apartment, my food, my car, and every other living expense in between as well as the servers". Meanwhile, all of his janitors/mods wade in their oceans of shitposts, don't get a cent, and basically do his job for him.

I'm not sure why they'd put up with that. 4chan isn't worth it. Deleting shitty /jp/ posts for 12 hours a day and bringing the board down to 3-4 pages should be a paid position with the amount of work it requires.

Sounds like the mods are fucking with /jp/.

It would be wise to delete and remake this thread.

Yeah, I know I can still post. Also everyone overestimates just how much the mods care in general. I know plenty of people from all boards who keep on posting with their usual names/trips despite their bans.

Still 4chan doesn't interest me anymore. If I were to post there again for some reason (unlikely) it would be on some other board. /jp/ has some of the worst threads on the whole website.

Get rid of visual novels with anime adaptations and/or English translations. That seems like the logical next step.

>>10174744,13
Remember, like 80% of those /q/ threads are made by Trevor (under the guise of trying to be helpful threads and such). His goal is to expose /jp/ meta-drama to the public, and to make the mods/janitors/moot sick of /jp/.

No, this was one thing I've always been particular about (or autistic about?). I've never posted actual cartoon nipple or vagoo. I've honestly really never been banned for any of the pictures I posted.

However I've always felt that the mods were sensitive to loli pics (from my pre-/jp/ Anon days), so I never posted any lewd pictures of that. I kind of feel that mattered a lot too.

>>9852185,292
Thanks again Archduke. I kinda felt that they never knew why I was originally banned. I guess that mystery will never be solved.

Also Dongfix must be referring to how I used my VPN to talk to Autism Paper-kun in that one fateful thread. But I really have no regrets doing that (even though it proved to be futile since he simply ignored me). But my post history shows that I stopped posting on /jp/ after that final thread anyways.

Thanks Archduke, but the mods seem just as clueless as everyone else (myself included).

I know the message said "ban evason", but I still can't figure out what ban (if any) which I was evading. I am absolutely, completely positive that I had no bans in place to evade.

>>9852185,260
When I think about how 4chan really is at heart (and what goes on behind the scenes) it really just feels like dude, why even bother. None if it is /jp/'s fault either. It's like, the problems on a bigger scale with the website as a whole keep me from wanting to appeal.

>> No.9852185,99 [INTERNAL]  [View]

>>9852185,95
I told you before: I was being ironic/sarcastic in that post you're referring to there. The context was that ban evasion for every little thing was a popular /ghost/ topic then, and I was making fun of those who constantly evade.

There actually was nothing for me to evade in that thread, because I got a "one day ban for /b/ invasion" that naturally expired within a few hours. My IP didn't change either because I saw the 4chan redirection page. It was just like the times I got autobanned for posting doujinshi links on forbidden URLs like Sendspace and such.

Actually, it would be glorious if that post of mine is what the mods solely based my permaban on. It would be like me jokingly saying "I have posted CP in the past" and the mods seeing those words and then going "well I better permaban him because he said he posted CP".

>>You have been proving Zunbys point for so long about how nerds take shit too seriously. You guys are a silly bunch.

For a few retards it's simply no longer /jp/ - Otaku Culture. It's /jp/ - This imageboard is my entire life and I have nowhere else to go ;_;

I think that's mainly why I don't mind being done with 4chan now. I just don't want to be around those kind of people anymore. I know all people who browse /jp/ aren't like this, but the most vocal retards were the ones following me around in every thread and such while writing their autism papers to the mods and spamming MYSTERY MAN Z. Thankfully they only randomly bitch about me on the ghost board now.

>>9716930,71
A rare voice of reason. Thank you for clearing this up.

You most likely care about the ban more than myself and the mods. It's honestly not a big deal to me. So I feel no need to bother with any IRC and waste some guy's time on this.

I'm only ITT because well, you two talk mad smack behind other people's backs. I sorta do take solace in the fact that you could never do this directly, though.

That's what I'm saying, nerds. Guys like you were always the ones posting the megathreads about tits and (2D) sluts and the dedicated fanclub threads (you know, the giant threads about a single character). /jp/ was never above all this.

Again, that's how I know it had nothing to do with what I ever posted, because I only posted the same things as you and everyone else. You were just buttmad from a namefield being used for 4+ years.

If this was ever about my post content, then you know the mods would have smacked me down back in 2008, 2009, 2010, and so on. No IRC autism essays and trip sockpuppeting required.

>>I love that people actually fell for the faketrip getting permabanned. Just goes to show they let in non-jpsies as mods and janitors around here.
>>Someone sure must have been mad at him to actually post stuff like that with one of those many cloned trips that were posted recently. Wonder if that guy ended up eating a rangeban for it.

I'm not permabanned yet, but I think the power of Anon might be too much for me to stand up against. Only on 4chan would you get banned for ban evading a ban than never happened.

I will probably keep posting if I do end up being permabanned (just as Anon). But it's weird, if I actually got legit permabanned on the unknown date it happened, then I would have turned my back on 4chan forever.

>> No.9573740,4 [INTERNAL]  [View]

Still can't accept that I've never been permabanned and that mods makes mistakes too?

AoC talked so much trash about the mods, moot, and how 4chan operated as a whole before quitting. Why would he go for another round of getting kicked in the balls.

I really don't think it's AoC, because AoC doesn't seem that retarded and hypocritical.

>>I am one of the few /jp/ers who liked Madoka.

Stopped reading there. Anyways, there's no difference between a Sanae thread or a Saten thread. If you think there are any differences, then it's due to your own personal tastes and biases and such.

In a perfect world mods/janitors wouldn't let their personal tastes affect their judgment, but we're on 4chan of all places I guess. Anything goes here.

>>That is the best advice you could possibly give for a website like 4chan.

Fixed. You also said yourself that moot and the mods don't care. I'm not sure why you'd want to deal with their bull at this point in time anyways. Just think about it: the fact that you have to send e-mails about light novels out of all things only shows that the rules mean nothing. The mods and janitors will just continue to operate however they feel like, and the Global 8 only exists to cover moot's ass in case CP and other illegal things get posted. It doesn't exist for our benefit.

That's why I say stop worrying about all this stuff and just post. Who cares. Appearances be damned; it's all just otaku culture stuff to begin with anyways.

>> No.9050897 [View]

If that post was recent, then Bleach would have to be replaced with Bleach/stay night or something.

Anyways the autodelete script that kicks in every day is useless and annoying, but I'm still glad the mods and moot don't babysit this place. You don't really have to babysit a board anyways; just delete CP and nukes and you're done.

No. This also happened 4 million posts ago with A-san. Here's what happened again for those who weren't around then:

1) /a/ Anon gets his posts deleted by the janitor in the AT thread.
2) He gets frustrated, so he starts trolling the thread.
3) That doesn't work either, so he goes to a mod in IRC and says the thread is off topic.
4) The mod believes him (they don't lurk /jp/) and deletes/lock the thread.

That's what happened today as well. A-san admitted he was wrong when this happened though. I don't think these newer mods are that kind.

It's not really so much the mods/janitors.

Moot's hypocrisy over censoring certain (legal) content on 4chan while he supports SOPA was always funny though. Human nature has always been like "it's fine when I do it, but it's wrong when others do it" I guess though.

Nope only mods/admins can use special fonts and such.

Or else you'd see everyone using the stuff.
