i watched a lot of matt and other language learning "gurus" my first year lemme tell you it doesnt actually help much, just follow the gist of >>37319840, ive read all of those guides they have good info what i will stress is that you should be reading AS you go through the anki deck and grammar guide, i fucked around reading beginner lessons and doing core2k and still struggled afterward, anki etc is supplemental to good ol reading manga and watching anime (while looking up words)
