The OP posted mentioning the Blood Red Moon. This happened last week where the Moon actually did have a Blood Red shade to it around 3am in the Midwest of America. It was a scheduled event and I missed it just like when I was in 3rd grade where Mars was the largest in the night sky (closest) in over 3000 years. My parents wouldn't have let me stay up for it. I still am mad about that. They still justify it by saying "You had school the next day though".

Once in a 3165 years you get to see Mars in the night sky physically
You're alive during one of these times
Not letting your kids stay up and watch
Not giving them a whole day off from school the next day to experience this rare astrological event
Justifying them not letting you see it with "Elementary primary school is more important"


Extremely upset about it whenever I remember.
This past blood moon was suppose to redeem me missing out on the Mars event so many years ago and I missed it.
