I try my best to create some semblance of balance, such as the reason they could actually catch Flandre was because they stacked four weaker factors: the wavy beams, the paper familiars, flipping the field, and 'nowhere hops' on top of each other to overwhelm her natural ability to dodge.
Although at this point their goal isn't necessarily to win any fights, but to make sure their children are born safely, so I see them less in a one V. one combat role and more as battlefield jokers or Goalies for the HSE.
