No fuck off. Italo disco is VERY Japan related. Italo was pretty only played in Japan, thus the reason why so many of the songs back then were about Tokyo or Japan. Pure eurobeat has nothing to do with Japan. SUPER EUROBEAT, now that is what we are talking about.

Most of the early super eurobeat albums in the early 90s was pretty much Italo. It evolved real quick into what we think of super eurobeat in the mid to late 90s.

Here is max coveri's Italo song "bye bye baby" that was in one of the early super eurobeat albums. (I think SEB 6 or 9).
