That's some funny slav fanservice. Being a slav myslef I can tell ya there are a few types of "trains", for example "elektrichka" and "poezd" both mean train< but here are some differences:
-Elektrichka works on electricity, hence the name. Poezd uses charcoal.
-Poezd is bigger and is meant to cross our lovely and giantic mother russia - and that's many days of travel. Poezd is made so that there are 4 beds in a room and you can have a sleep. Elektrichka uses just seatings.
-Obviously, poezd works at night since it travels a long distances, elektrichka doesn't work at night.
Elektrichka is more like buses and it is being used to travel among nearby cities. And if there are train otaku, here is some information about Sapsan, there aren't much of them and they use only one route:
