Umineko is not only a great mystery, it also has scary monsters and nice sprites.
Would you have enjoyed it even more if the fantasy stuff turned out to be real and instead of Eva, it'd be Lucifer, or Virgilia, or perhaps even Beatrice herself who got back at Kyrie for being a terrible human being?

How can we reach levels of KINO like George vs Gaap, BATTLER vs Dlanor or Bern vs Will again?
Throw Keiichi vs Rena and Shion vs everyone in as well. Those were kino.
Nothing in Sotsugou yet came even close, every single touhou final boss fight completely mogs witch Satoko reveal or Ooishi rampage.
I'm starting to lose faith that we'll see actual kino in the end.

Based, so fucking based. Y'know, this is undeniably the best Umineko fanfiction we have gotten all year and a post more true to the heart of the story than most. That said...
I did NOT expect bejitaCHAD to be a tranny. Going back over the episode though the foreshadowing was there, and it was brilliant. The following review includes heavy spoilers, so read it for yourself first.

This line is the only instance of the nameless kids gender to be named before the big reveal, it is instead called "they" or "their" for most of the story which already hinted at its true nature. Twists with obvious foreshadowing like that are a specialty of Ryukishi07's, I'm glad to see it be incorporated into fanfictions.

This line made me lmao irl, not gonna lie. The build-up to this confrontatiion in contrast with this plain, unprompted punchline is comedy genius. In my humble opinion, it is only supassed by the two dying characters infamous last words:
>Shirou utters his last words: XX Chromosomes... i w-was glad to be your hero... *dies*...
>Bejita fag utters one last word before getting blown the fuck out of the golden land: m-maybe piccolo is the better character

The story manages to be both incredibly fun, as well as dangerously based with an undeniable sense of melancholy and nostalgia. When the first act concluded and the stage opened up for the Golden Land, I was reminded of my very first Umineko readthrough as the magic of that experience was understood and applied perfectly by the author of this forgery.
