I got really into akagi, and then I started playing online, and I wanted to play in person, but the only thing I found for a while was people looking to play chinese Mah Jong, and they were usually old ladies.

I finally played a game a few months ago, but it was impossible to be smug and do cool things because I got my shit pushed in pretty badly.

All I really wanted to do was do that cool thing Akagi does where he thumbs the leftmost tile so they all fall down when declaring tsumo. It's hard though.
