anki is like a chocolate bar in language learning. its convenient and fun but not healthy and efficient in the long run.

reading is like a healthy balanced clean meal. much more hassle to do but more worth for you.

i solved this problem with my patented "masterrace cards™"

i put the concext sentence on the front as a "hint" field. so iam confronted with the isolated word first. when i notice it sounds familiar i open example or mining sentence field and screenshot with scene last.

that way you have the best of both worlds and get a feeling if the word left enough traces in your head.
