Since foraging is so random I don't try to rely on it much until I want to start making sleeping pills and such.
At low levels, selling crops usually nets about 40 or 50k in a single sitting. At higher levels it can get to 120 or so. This is in one sitting though, and you can do multiple in a day. Like, I made 200k with speech level 3 after dumping crops 3 times on day 43
