Can't you just stick the tail to the outside, or is the magnet not strong enough? That's what I do when I want the tail on the outside of the outfit, which is also how I prefer it with Yuzuki's miko outfit; but I attach it under the dress in her cafe maid outfit. Pic unrelated.
