Yesterday I decided to download Umineko since everyone talks about it, so why not give it a try?

I followed those:

Anyway, Unrar works only on the first of them.

I've been staying out of these threads for the most part....What the fuck is going on?

I thought this was supposed to be a murder mystery inside a mansion with furniture people and Beatrice pulling strings.

Then all of a sudden a Rika clone pops up and then all these other characters who weren't in the original lineup.

Did the scenario switch or something like in Higurashi?

Having a problem with Umineko at the moment. It always locks up in the same place, in the scene where Marisa does her "quiet laugh", when the servants come in the door to tell the kids what have happened, it jumps to the loading screen then locks up completely.

This is incredibly frustrating as the next chapter is beyond the "Witchcraft" option too. Is there any way to bypass this?

Are there any figures of the Witches from Umineko? There are loads of Higurashi figures, but I guess as Umi isn't as popular, there aren't as many. Or maybe just not released yet?

However, when I run the setup, it just stops...
I found a guide on how to do it on linux, but not windows.

Dear /jp/, I'm reading VN for the first time. it's Umineko. I just finish episode one and now reading episode2, and I'm a bit confused.

So everyone died in episode1? and why are they alive again in episode2？ They were being resurrected or it's different timeline？Sorry for being a dumpass. I'm not familｉａr with VN at all.

I'm looking to get into this umineko lark but doing my Mphil has been taking up all of my time for the past few months so I've been out of the loop. Any chance somebody could give me a hand with what I need? For example was episode 1 just a trailer; and if so should I still read it and how might one go about doing so.

Also, am I right in assuming that the anime has not been designed as a substitute for the VN?
