Polka worked at a circus but the ringmaster was very unethical. She was forced to leave that circus, and had to leave everything behind. But because she had so many friends, she found a new stage to perform at. Her friend Aloe was forced to quit, which caused a dark cloud to fall over Holo5. Gen5 was successful, but because of the Aloe thing, had a WAY higher % of haters than normal. Polka has a lot of haters in Japanese because of a poor joke during a minecraft collab. Rather than thinking of the good things people say about her, Polka dwells on the people who hate her far too much.

EN came along, and made her success seem... Well... Less successful. She's been very sad going through all of this. She might finally be turning a corner though, EN fans adore her, and she is happy she is being supported. The JP antis still attack her ("You're too loud! You didn't even try with the EN collab!"), but she had a very nice weekend.
