I thought I'd been clear when I said it was 'financially sound', but I guess people didn't understand what I meant. I get WHY artists make people pay for their content - it's a thing that is centuries old for crying out loud - but it's the idea of a good portion of a small fanbase's art being a cut-out lewd art with "Buy the full version on my Fanbox!" that irritates me, simply because of how it looks on Pixiv or whatever website you're browsing art on, with a good portion of the smaller fanbases' art ends up being unaccessible without spending hundreds of (insert local currency here). Of course, that amount of money is speaking from when I've looked into the amounts artists expect for a set of Fate art, which usually ends up mixed with a ton of completely unrelated art on Gumroad or something. Like I said, I'm primarily whining since I'm drunk, and usually I just deal with the art I can get my hands on normally, and god knows I'm not against paying some money to artists I like (although I'd prefer to a good portion of the art to be the character I like and not some completely unrelated character from some other game). It just angers me when I search a character up and half their art is just snippets of a vaguely alright lewd pic.
Plus, not having to manually edit art to get rid of the watermarks/remove censors so I can save them in my folders without being irritated is always nice.
