It's surprising that peoples reactions are mostly sexual toward Touhous, rather than, say, reverential or inspiring. For example--whereas one person easily conjures an image of a blushing Yukari, shying off her feelings of being old, and can recall many an illustration of her in a cute pose or such, others can only see not exactly a monster man eating eldritch, but a regale entity, a vicegerent of a mythical world upon whose continued existence is strongly intertwined.
Now, the crux to this differentiation has nothing to do with being a healthy heterosexual male attracted to females, but more how your image of Yukari would initially be formed.
Suppose you first see Yukari's illustrations across the net, and you learned of her being in some game, maybe tried it out but not by much. Would not, then, your impression of her be more easily plastic, creating a view more susceptible to your sex drive? After all, it's an anime girl, and nothing beside. Contrarily, to someone who only learns of Yukari through having discovered her in PCBs phantasmal stage, the impression 'Yukari' would be something, in a word, a lot more grand, largely owing to the view formation being underpinned by her theme, her exposure as a sinister planner, and as the final boss.
Of those 3, the music would be most important, thanks largely to the surety in how it's interacted with, being not a representation of something, but as the thing itself or, at least, as one with it.
-And so, you have your formation 'Yukari' as analogous to what necrofantasia evokes which, I'd like to think, to any first time listener, even repeating ones, would be -and continues to be- rather awe inspiring, far removed from any sexual inflection.
Yukari takes on this necrofantasia, and the necrofantasia takes on Yukari.
A Touhou world-view neither wrought by misery, not by eroticism, not by something dark, but of resplendence and wonder.

There you go, OP.

I don't want to fix her. I want to make her worse.
