Your mistake is classifying all narratives as naRRATives, anon-chama.
There are two strata of narratives, one for good, and one for ill.
The good narratives, that keep us entertained and allow us to shitpost with each other, are treasured parts of our history.

These are healthy narratives, with no malice and little potential for issue. There is no harm here. The issue comes when narratives are spun from tainted cloth. A narrative born of doxfags or antis can only lead to hell, even if it is given out initially in good faith. I can tell you of a few anons who made such narratives, who have come to deeply regret their actions for the fuel it gave those who lurk in the dark.
A narrative and a rrat are two separate categories. A narrative can be tolerable; a rrat should never be tolerated, lest it fester and call upon the swarm.

This had been said before but it's worth saying it again: Westerners do not understand idol culture, and they never will. At best we have idol culture "enthusiasts", but just like with the Japanese language, it something they struggle to learn.

Reminder Unity does not mean you like all the girls. It means you understand that different people like different girls, and just as you wouldn't want someone to shit on yours, you also don't shit on the joy of others.
I might not like some of the HoloEN or other Holos, but I see no reason to attack them. Comparing people is stupid anyways and if someone gets as much happiness from their favorite(s) as I do from mine, it's worth it to at the very least no bad mouth them.
