Kiss, kiss, fall in love!
(Hey! Hey! Hey!)

I see you come, I watch you go; you never seem to leave me, though.
So is this love or hate? We'll see...you're makin' me crazy!
Inside my dreams, you're all I see. Well, all I see is you and me.
Lady, maybe, or host? I find I really don't mind

If I had to choose a rose, in this garden of romance,
Maybe we could take this chance...maybe you're my love,

And I would like to find a hand like yours to take mine,
And with one kiss we could stop time, and I'd fall in love with you.
Tomorrow's far away; let's place our hope in today.
Just you and me in a beautiful spring...and we'll always fall in love, again.

(Hey! Hey!)
Maybe you're my love!

Don't mind much about your theorycrafting but in that image Jataka discusses the suffering that passion can cause in regards to attachment to the mundane life and reality through passion. Utilizing a narrative tale, the Buddha made clear to a love-sick disciple, who was missing his wife, about what happened to him in a previous world cycle that he witnessed. In the moment of passion, the disciple, who was in the form of a stag that came from perimeters of a forest, went after a doe that came from the perimeters of a village. She warned him to not go after her, since he was but a simple stag unaccustomed to the dangers of living in the perimeters of a village. He disregarded her, and while following her, she suspected a hunter was nearby. The doe lets him go first, disregarding her warnings on the dangers of life in the perimeters of the village, and the stag falls with one clear shot. The Buddha was a fairy during this event in the previous cycle, living in a nearby grove of trees watching the story unfold. Taking heed of the event, thus he had written: " 'Twas not father or mother, but passion alone that destroyed this foolish deer . The dawn of passion is bliss, but its end is sorrow and suffering,—the painful loss of hands, and the misery of the five forms of bonds and blows. To cause another’s death is accounted infamy in this world; infamous too is the land which owns a woman’s sway and rule; and infamous are the men who yield themselves to women’s dominion." The other fairies of the woods were with him, and applauded his wisdom while offering perfumes and flowers. He then wrote the three infamies into a single stanza:
Cursed be the dart of love that works men pain!
Cursed be the land where women rule supreme!
And cursed the fool that bows to woman’s sway!
The stag was the disciple, and the doe was his wife. The Buddha wanted to unveil this attachment that causes suffering to his disciple, as it was hidden by the cycle of rebirth.
