I have two main thoughts about the festival and how Hana would weigh in. First though was she is 100% emotionally tapped, even if the farewells and hanging out at the shrine go well. Her involvement would only be spectating for as it's a human matter, 'if the village wants to welcome some low level riff raff into their midst officially its on them'

The climax changed that thought, since the second thought was: How much of her Hakurei ideals would she uphold in this context? Her racism has abated generally, but these are also the riff raff that have been personally profiting off her father's suffering, and boy is she stressed... To top that off, Sanae is in danger, Keine just bit it, and even if their relationship isn't overly warm Hana remembers her fondly, Mokou is torching villagers and whatever(big nono), Heida just turned(big nono), and now youkai are openly attacking humans(A Hakurei should support humans no matter what, right? especially the ones that are staying in the village)

Essentially the more I read the more hyped I got as I considered what I could and should do. This isn't really supposed to the crux of things for Hana, but it'd be a good development moment for the Moriyan girls, seeing if Hana would get haunted by the spector of the crimson slasher, Reimu rushing in a little too late(?), and a good bit of jobbing to easily avoidable situations.

As far as the protection thing goes; if the two jobbers are watching Hana that works well for what I have planned. Including the big H and maybe Mima would work as well for finale stuff after I lock Hana onto a track.

Hey I just thought, given the situation they'd have to be watching often, and especially towards the night... Poor gods might see a little too much...
