And so Friday came and went. I woke up early, got my car ready and put on my best clothes. And so my journey began. It was a 45 minute drive but my mind was full of questions. Even if she was real, what would I do? Will I fuck this up and end up with a miserable failure of a first date experience because of my berndness and assburger? I've also read the stories about bad first dates and now this became my greatest fear. It was no longer whether she was real or a fake, but whether I could get through this without being a complete embarassment.
