Why is /bun/ so much better than /jp/?

When will Japanese games advance in terms of visuals? Don't get me wrong, I've played/modded my fair share of Sexy Beach and 3DCG and I fucking loved it but I have to say that more polish would be nice.

Random clipping, odd animation, inconsistent cell shading, and low-res textures irk the fuck out of me. And the times when they DO look nice, it runs at an abominable FPS on a PC that runs Crysis on all high @ 40fps (I'm looking at you, Real Kanojo)
