Couple things I'll clarify though: the bracelet has two intended functions: Seeking a target and directing magical energy to that target. It being so cursed is more of a side-effect of it being a product of 'use all parts of the buffalo' human sacrifice, although it does make sense that some of it's energy could be syphoned off. The way I think of it is like a 'sterile grudge', It's a curse that doesn't have a personality and won't grow in size, and this makes it uncanny for the observer since angry people are usually expressive and unstable, not consistent. Do with this information as you please!
