I can get around feeling bad for low view vtubers because catching on as one is hard and requires luck. There's some that have great designs and work hard but never get many viewers, while other lower quality and effort ones get far more. Usually the couple regulars they get are loyal at least.

I'm feeling bad for Kizuna Ai, who stood at the very top and never stopped working hard, but got fucked over by suits pulling retarded stunts and narrativefags peddling retarded rumors that spread so far that newfags still believe them long after they're even relevant anymore. The more degenerate the VY, the more autistic her fans, for example in this thread you can see Mito and Nora fans getting baited over insanely simple shit like a white lie and "hurr your VY a man"
On the other hand, Shirogumi deal great with bait, they work together and ignore/bully trolls out (like SEAsubber)
One exception to this rule is Eilene, as degenerate as she is, for some reason her fans do not defend her and just reply between them, they dont even talk about her videos, this last topic needs much more study
