/jp/ - Otaku Culture

I'm really pissed that no one tried to convince moot to delete /jp/

/jp/ is always going to be the wildcard board of 4chan. In fact, talking about what belongs and /jp/ and why /jp/ is so shitty has always been part of /jp/ culture.

I used to hate flanfly and chubby.jpg. But it's been here for so long that nobody can deny that it's an integral part of /jp/. I can guarantee you that at least half of this board population missed the most exciting time of the day when 4chan was down.

Anyway, I suggest the following changes to this board. Renaming it to:

/jp/ - /jp/ Culture

and updating the rules:

1. All things /jp/ welcome!

Plus that would kind of be like adding Tokiko or someone.

Oh and moot did the Facebook Connect April Fools joke like two or three years ago. And changed the front page to a Web 2.0 mess that led people to make jokes about premium accounts. Except the front page was serious and stayed ( ._.)

Any other imageboards you go to?

I've been on /bun/ a bit recently. It's slow, but it's really good. Reminds me of what /jp/ used to be like, kinda.
