HRtP doesn't have any explanation whatsoever, so i'm not going to argue based on my headcanons, since there's nothing to really compare anything to.
Saachan isn't one of my favorites, so i'm not too bothered in the end. It's kinda weird that she'd be bigger than Shinki though, or maybe the one you fight in HRtP is bigger for some reason.

Zun needs to expand and explain Makai a little better really, every time it returns it's got nothing in common with anything that came before

Alice has a few eccentricities, sure.
But do you really want to live with Saachan?
She's not even really a "she" you know.
And Elis can get a little... Rough, even for a vampire, demon... Thing.
Just go and have a happily-ever-after story with Alice, she needs that kind of thing in your life, she's the only one who is both stable enough to actually HAVE a relationship and would want one in the first place.
I'm sure she'll grow out of her obsessions when she gets a husband, namely you.
And if not, tough luck, she needs to do something else in her life than make those freaky dolls.
