Just did my archives reps and found this. While this post is clearly a falseflag by a deadbeat, it does not at all mean the argument is itself invalid, even if it is hidden behind irony. What I've noticed about the deadbeats, and Mori herself, is that they believe that self-awareness of their own weaknesses automatically excuses them. This post is a complaint of a complaint of a complaint of a complaint but no matter how many layers they hide this, it is still the same one complaint; Deadbeats are ingenuine cowards, and in their own self-awareness makes them feel invulnerable and secure. I apologize if this seems circular and messy, but there is no way to peer into the mind of a deadbeat without it being circular and messy. You have to hand it to them, they do their way around meta-references.

Irony and anonymity were their shields "back in za day" and have found themselves using these tools once again and have applied it to their devotion to their oshi. Mori attracts these kinds of people to her not just because she's /one of us/ (face it, Ina is a bigger oldfag than Mori. 2010 isn't even an oldfag in the classical chart), but because she shares the same ethos of many oldfags. They may joke about her being a libertarian despite knowing exactly her political affiliations(let's not fool ourselves, of course they did their own independent roommate reps), but that's just an exaggeration. The truth here is they cherish her because she is, like many of them back then, are free speech absolutists, and project many of their own nostalgia unto her. In fact, it doesn't even matter whether Mori herself posts here or not. Because if she did, she'd post exactly like one of them, or deliberately post in her own style to ironically obfuscate her own identity.

tl;dr the deadbeats exaggerates, falseflags, and employs irony, but at the end of the day it still circles back into the same genuine love other fanbase feels toward their oshi. They're weird, but they're alright. Of course, we can't end a deadbeat falseflag without slipping in lyrics somewhere, so here; You're an ace dealt back on the rebound. Know that if you wanna be a diamond star, ya better step up!
