I'm playing elona. I still don't know if Nyarlathotep is the best pet but I wasted two 200+ balls getting two gold bells that just run out of gold so they can't use golden storm making them virtually useless as anything except a store-keeper. I'm also trying to find a living weapon grenade and turn my other living weapon scythe into a stat-stick but I was reading that maybe living weapons aren't even that worth it compared to just omega enchanting your shit.

I know I need to stop resetting after single mistakes in practice runs but I can't help myself. I keep dying to goddamn Chen, and I know a Stage 2 Hard boss is not comparable to a Stage 2 Normal boss but it just feels like a hit to my ego whenever it happens and I can't bear to go on.
How do I stop being a fragile piece of shit and actually hit Stage 3 and 4 outside of practice mode? Is there any advice to stop my trigger finger other than "dude just gain more willpower?"

I spent ten fucking minutes each practicing Mamizou's second and third spellcards in spell practice mode today just to be extra sure that I wouldn't have to throw away any runs over them, won almost every single time while pausing at the start to not prematurely clear it, and I had to throw away two runs in a row because I died to both cards at the last second. What the fuck is wrong with me and why can't I capture these cards during an actual fucking run when I can do it just fine in spell practice?
