Actually, I should've probably been more clear. The semantic radical 頁, comprised of 首 (animal with horns, but later head) + 卩 (kneeling person, represented by the bottom two strokes), is supposed to be depicting a person kneeling with head held forward, thus emphasizing the head, but the left phonetic radical 豆 doesn't have a clear origin as to why it was chosen. Some believe it was picked because of its homophony with the Proto-Sino-Tibetan word for head, others believe it's depicting a skull as a drinking vessel. Who knows?
TL;DR just memorize the damn kanji and stop asking questions
