That's 2116 shitposts less, a huge improvement. And there's still a couple hundred to shed.

Nice attempt at rationalization, faggot janitor. "But dey all must of been shitposts so it's okay", get fucked.

Why do you come on warosu?

how long have bans been stored in cookies? I reset IP, couldn't post, cleared cookies, then was able to post.

>> No.12100261,5 [INTERNAL]

>>12100261,4
That happened sometime in later 2013 I think, but my time perception's all messed up.

I remember when they first started doing it you actually got another ban for ban evasion. Now it just says "You have been ban evading" and it goes away and lets you post after deleting the dumb tracking cookie.

I find it funny that the grand jew thinks we need more mods/janitors, and stricter enforncement, when we have even less posters, and the cause of that is mainly due to them being chased off by the militant douchebag staff.

Does anyone remember the background that led up to moot massively increasing the number of jannies/mods and allowing mods to mod on any board?

There was a huge outcry from butthurts about 4chan needing more moderation, this was back in like... 2011 or something I think. Perhaps before. That's why it was put into place.

The thing is, it did nothing to improve anything about the actual content that was posted. Because "arolls" and people like that were never the reason why the site was going downhill, it was going downhill as a natural consequence of the userbase growing exponentially.

always fun to scroll past a thread of dumb people who all think they aren't dumb

>> No.12100261,9 [INTERNAL]

Where did the population on 4jan's post-/jp/ come from? What are they doing there? I don't believe them to be from the good old days, not for one single second. Who are these people?

>> No.12100261,10 [INTERNAL]

>>12100261,9
Slow moving Touhou boards like poopshlmer and kanshitters from /a/. I'm not even joking. That's literally the population of 4jan's post-/jp/.

This has always been the case.

>> No.12100261,13 [INTERNAL]

>>12100261,12
Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure mods were locked down to their specific boards before.

You forgot about the people who play fap games.

>> No.12100261,15 [INTERNAL]

>>12100261,13
Well, I don't know, but I don't have evidence to the contrary. The only exception was Soviet Russia, who only had mod powers on /z/.

Mods have always been universal. Janitors were board-specific. Around the time of 2010 almost all the heavy lifting was done by janitors. That's why the strictness of "moderation" varied wildly from board to board. The actual mods were just moot's friends and didn't do shit. If it seemed like nobody got banned, it's because nobody really did. Lots of shit just got deleted instead.

When moot took a renewed interest in the site he made most of those autistic janitors into fulltime mods, and now they're still thirsty for our blood.

What did they do to you in Afghanistan? Before you got sent there you discussed games/anime/whatever your other interests were in a rather intelligent fashion. All you do now is spam memes and feign ignorance for some undisclosed reason. What happened?
