even for words with multiple meanings sentence cards seem like too much of a pain. better off only using anki to acquire readings and (maybe) meanings. the meanings being 100% clear and accurate isn’t even that important because you can get it from immersion. i’m convinced anki vocab cards for readings is the best usage of anki. just focusing on that you can blow up the number of readable words you have to 8k+ very very quickly within your first year of learning. that’s what you want more than anything to read painlessly
