why im learning japanese?
because i was grow up watching dubbed anime 24 hour a day.

this might be a stupid question but in a name selection screen, why are these kanji listed under "あ" ?
like 夜 for example, what is "あ" about 夜, since I checked it's readings and none of them involve "あ" ?
some kanji also have 2x or 3x as much kanji attributed to them as others, what is it referring to?

I'm a beginner and have a question about time spent. For the section times given in >>39994839 animecards.site, how many hours a day do these assume?

I started today and did this - I had to take a phonecall halfway through. I currently work part time and want to devote about 3-4 hours each day to learning, although I've been out of formal education for some time and it might take a bit of build up to get back into the rhythm of it.
