While I agree patreon, fanbox, etc. has made it very easy for novice artists to squeeze money out of porn addicts and social media encourages serving the lowest common denominator to get mass market appeal, it's disingenuous to say that all artists have gone this way. If you dig past all the flavor of the month bandwagon artfags you can still find works made for the sake of art and the source material rather than generating money with gratuitous lewdity. It's unfortunate you have to actively look for it, but it's not like they all went extinct.

Honestly, even to say "you have to look for it" is disingenuous. I have to actively look for porn and horny-bait stuff, but sometimes I'll see some picture of the smug bunnygirl slut from Blue Archive with 30k likes while scrolling through someone elses twitter.
