You are not a touhou protagonist. You are some guy that loses his memory and end up appearing in the forest of magic and is found by Marisa and Alice while they were walking around.

There are 5 routes (Alice, Marisa, Reisen, Yukari and another one I still need to decide), comparing to the huge number of characters of the touhou universe 5 routes is really a small number but you interact with many characters in many situations.

To make it brief: Everyone in Gensokyo is hyped up because something seems to be wrong, a incident of course. You are part of it obviously, so you will hang around many places interacting with lots of characters. Things may vary a lot depending on the route you are, I made everything based on canon works, that includes personality, etc.

I don't feel like starting a discussion about the project right now so I'll leave you with just that.
