You know how Kinzo is supposed to be giving the orders to the prisoners in episode 4? In one scene Battler is talking to Kyrie on the phone and tells her to tell Kinzo that he'll punch his face in or whatever. Kinzo overhears and Kyrie says it looks like he's game. So what if Kinzo heard because the person 'Kinzo' represents in that scene is Kyrie who has the receiver to her ear?

Kyrie culprit theories existed after episode 4, so did the pony theory, so did Shkanon, so did Shkanontrice and the Taiwan theory. If you tie all these together you've got the answer.

Just finished the episode.
Not bad at all but not very satisfying.
The interrogations of Will, that was the climax of the characterization of the entire cast except for a few characters, made it very apparent that the characters were very weak.
To say it in blunt term, they are all pretty shallow characters.
Kinda disappointing after 7 long games that probably amount to one of the biggest script among VNs.

Umineko is definitely about Beato's heart and Yasu or whatever you want to call her/him is really the only well developed character in the cast.
Even if there are still holes in her story that need to be developed, I hope, because her reason to do what she did for now frankly suck.
Though it really seems Beatrice's story ended so it may be the real reason.

8/10, best episode after episode 3 since it was pretty gripping, some scenes were downright creepy and uncomfortable which is something I never felt before with Umineko and Will was a good protagonist.

So, isn't it only natural that she makes a really risky game, in which she challenges Battler to figure out the heart behind everything, and that failure means everything's lost? She bet everything on that one chance of Battler to figure out who she was and that she LOVED him, the risks (killing everyone) being outwighted by the gains (Battler realizing the motive).
She doesn't do it out of revenge, or anything. She's doing it out of love, or so we're led to believe. Which is why Battler doesn't realize this, or realizes it too late, probably when the tragedy already happened and he's survived the hwole thing.
