I had a lot of fun on the level 1 hard mode with Shanoa, though. Even the simplest areas turned out to be a nightmare.

and for some fucking reason I don't understand since most CV fans own PS3s and Wiis, is Castlevania: Harmony of Despair for Xbox360. Its metroidvania but with most of the protagonists from the past metroidvania games.

Playing through Lament of Innocence right now. Fuck the camera issue, otherwise it's decent.

Order would have been better without a leveling system. Otherwise it was fuck-awesome. I had more fun with Portrait, though.

Thief is the true hard mode of they game. You suck in every way including level, because you'll level up less from grinding less.
It was fun, but being the 5th-6th damn playthrough of the same game and watching this zombie take a dozen hits to kill was ridiculous.

I did it too, Zombie Dragon in Thief Mode was a Nightmare, and the Fighter mode was overpowered as fuck

But fuck man, I bought a PS3 and PSP for Metal Gear Solid and Konami fucks me by putting Harmony of Despair on the xbox.

Worse, I heard Shanoa sucks balls in it too. I know Igarashi said it was a possibility to bring it to the PS3 if the Xbox version sells well....

I know they're not great, especially now that the game is officially broken less that a few months later when the games are filled with Somacards speedrunning all the time to the boss just to stand in front of it using their crissaegrams or whatever the fuck it's called now.

Oh well, I guess the only thing I can hope for is some Shanoa x Charlotte images to come out of this.

I was so disappointed with Dawn of Sorrow's final boss. I was expecting super Dimitri or something, flinging all sorts of souls and shit at me, like the fight in the chapel but reworked to be final-boss worthy.
Instead, I got...a big skeleton. With exciting attacks like PUNCH! and STOMP!
Music was good, if anything else.

You get there and the atmosphere's intense, and then you just...lolez mode through the whole thing, abuse the fuck out of the mist magic, soul steal if you ever actually get in danger of dying, etc. Doesn't even matter what weapon you use.

In that regard, DoS was flat in a similar way.
