That's odd... a bunch of the early posts included Virgilia yet none of the later ones do.

I liked Beato from ep 1-4, Ange, and to some extent Battler best.

I hated Maria with a furious passion until episode 4, but both Maria and Rosa grew on me after a while.

I loved the 7 sisters of purgatory, but most of the other meta-characters became so over the top that I couldn't bring myself to caring anymore. I don't know why really, perhaps it was too many characters in too short of a story or perhaps it was too obvious catering to a specific audience.

If you were to ask which I though were the worst characters, I'd have difficulty chosing. Aurora scores high on that because I feel like she's introduced just for the sake of introducing yet another character and giving the whole meta-wheel another spin. Excellent candidates would be Zepar and Furfur as well, and the nauseating writing that accompanied them should probably go down as the worst ever in the history of visual novels. That's just my opinion though.

Strangely enough I liked Will and Lion. Haven't read ep 8 yet though.

Eva-Beatrice is mai waifu. Maria, Beatrice and Erika are fine too.

My favorite characters are worldenddominator, miragecoordinator and dreamenddischarger. Mortal stampede is pretty good too.

It's kind of funny, even though people regard 1-4 as the "golden years" and Chiriu inferior, Erika, Will & Lion and even the twins get a lot of love. A lot of the reasons people like Bern & Lambda are based on the Chiriu eps too.

I like the hysterical laughing when the Stakes are sent to turn Ushiromiyas into minced meat. When she kicks lifeless Battler around, his neck chained, and verbally abuses him, it makes my heart dance. I like when having gained his trust she trollfaces and makes him cry bitch tears.
It always left a warm feeling in my chest when she was having her own imaginary tea parties, sorting out her conflicting feelings, her belief in miracles and understanding of harsh reality.
I like it when the maids are thrown into confusion by her elaborate pranks. I recall how much it moved me, seeing how devoted she is, waiting for Battler again and again, even though he'd never come back. And it's painfully sad to see she knows her dreams are foolish but at the same time blames herself for lacking the faith.

It pains me when the family is thrown into chaos. When the relatives she hoped would solve the riddle together turn into enemies and jump at each other's throats in their greed... Oh, how very sad it is.
I like it when Erika's wedding is crushed and obliterated! Beato slapping her face with a glove after a glorious dash through the chapel, saving the day!

Gentleman, I like Yasu and her fertile mind, ingenious, imaginative and wondrous like magic itself.

Will&Lion - Really a good pair, they manage to be interesting despite being introduced to late. Also, delicious homolust. To bad R07 shat all over Cleir story in ep VIII.
Erika - Annoying in ep V, became awesome in ep VI, she practically was the saving grace of ep VI. Her dead was impressive

I read something on here which linked the backstory to her being Battler's ex-girlfriednd which kind of gave it more substance.

I still think the best ending out of all the eps was when rosa was running from the goats, it was the only ending that made me go "holy shit that was awesome". I still think all the adults are way more interesting then the meta/kids but sadly r07 is afraid of his readers, i feel that he really wanted to put a lot more into the adults and make them more like main characters but since japan hates old people, he got nervous.

I just really liked the entire dynamic of the main characters in EP7. So Will, Lion, Yasu, and hell, let's throw Bern in there too, EP7 was the one time Bern was actually good.
