Learn anatomy. Read looms so you can learn to draw proper anatomy as well as shading.

/ic/ hates animu drawing for a reason. People think you can start out with awkward body proportions and pointy chins instead of proper proportions and anatomy. Learn to draw proper anatomy and you will see the quality of your art skyrocket

It's not that bad but you fucked up everything.
First the proportions, correct that first. Then the details, just look yourself it's obviously some unrefined rough thingy. Once the proportions are fine try to make things nice, take your time.

Just draw a lot. Don't try to make 'finished' drawings, just try to make a lot of drawings.
Draw from real life.
Copying something 2D (not tracing) is ok too, but not as good as drawing from real life, and NOT if it's a cartoon. Cartoons are simplified into simple outlines, but you need to understand what's going on INSIDE the space being outlined to be able to suggest that space with a simple outline. So, if you just copy someone's outline you're completely bypassing that step.
Also don't try to make shit up out of your head if you can't draw something that's right in front of your face. Well... I mean you can do whatever you want, but it isn't very efficient practice to not use a solid reference, and you won't have anything to compare against to see what you're doing wrong.
