You guys have any animals to keep you company? Nothing beats having a cat who will just spend his free time sitting next to you and keeping you company.

I used to have a cat, he wasn't very nice. I just wanted to hold him for a long time, but after a few minutes he always left.
I have a dog now, and she even lets me use her as a hug pillow, and sometimes I let her fall asleep on me, although she is kind of heavy. Not only that, but since dogs are bigger you can play rough and wrestle with them, and they never leave if you try to just hold them. So obedient~

>>9339946
It worked with my cat, I just put him on the litterbox once and he just knew how to use it forever after that, but I need to keep the bathroom door always open. With the dog, I have a thing called a wee wee pad that she poops and pees on, although I had to train her from puppy to use it.

My dad bred exotic animals and sold them to zoos. They were fucking terrors. I can't even stand domesticated animals now.
Something interesting: he stole two bear cubs from a zoo in Kentucky and tried to bring them back to his enclosure in his car. They woke up in the back of the car at a hotel and escaped. One of them is still in the Nashville zoo from when it was captured by rangers. The other one's fate remains unknown.

Whatever the zoos wanted: macaws, African Greys, white swans (exotic/colorful birds in general were in demand always.) Sugar gliders were popular. Every now and then he would buy a breeding pair of something dangerous, eg. large cats, but they were kept in an enclosure so there's unfortunately no interesting stories about them.

I had a fat, fluffy cat that spent the majority of her time chilling in my room. Despite her large mass she would often jump onto my lap and stay there for hours. She'd sleep on my bed and by the time I would wake up I'd find myself pushed into a corner, with her hogging the center of the bed. Unfortunately, a couple months ago she became ill.

Now we only have one cat. He speeds back and forth through the house and doesn't like to be kept in a room, so he doesn't hang out with me like my other cat did.

My cat spends all of his time not outside keeping me company. He likes to sleep by my computer chair or just lay there, when I go lay on bed he might come lay on my chest or lay by my feet. He doesn't hang out with anyone besides me, why do Cat's lives have to be shorter than humans?

My cat is a shedding monster. Her fur would literally never stop falling off in droves no matter how much I brush her. She's still as fluffy as ever, I'd imagine she'd be bald by now.

>> No.9340819

My cat killed a bird and put it under my desk. He also saved the house from burning down by coming outside and letting me know there was smoke from when I left a pot on the stove for too long. He would purr every time I picked him up. He would let me use him as a pillow while I just listened to him purr. His name was Tiger and he was the best cat. I also had another cat named Comet. She was a little prissy cat who would run away from me if I tried to go up and pet her sometimes. Other times she would lay in my lap or on my bed and I would pet her. She was the cutest cat. I would talk to her and after I finished my sentence she would meow in a cute way. "That's a good Comet-kitty!". "Rrrmeow!". I loved them both but I moved away to boarding school, then my parents divorced and sold the house, giving the cats away in the process.

I've had a few cats. I don't mind them being somewhat antisocial (I can hardly criticize them for something i exhibit myself!). However, my current cat is extremely social... to a degree which occasionally surprises me. He sleeps at my feet when I'm at the computer (I've never before had a cat that would sleep where there was a possibility of being trodden upon), noses his way under the covers to sleep with me at night, runs to greet me when I come home from work, talks to me (seriously, he must be part siamese or something, he's so chatty)... He even pulled out a bunch of his fur when I left him alone for a long weekend once. It's pretty cute.
