Yeah it's not all translated, but still you have tons of translated episodes. In chronological order, all the eps before 2009 have been translated, and 2010 is being translated.

You can find the 0ji59fun, 1ji59fun and 2008-2009 AKBINGO episodes in batch torrents. Because there's quite a lot of references to earlier episodes and so on, it's recommended to start watching from the oldest episodes (1ji59fun -> 0ji59fun -> 2008 AKBINGO and so on). The peak of the show is around 2009, so this way you also get the build-up to the best of the show.

Even after 2009 lots of AKBINGO episodes are translated, though since it's still in progress there's no batch torrents or such. Aidol is the subber that has been continuing the work with AKBINGO (though unfortunately, lately they've also been subbing more recent episodes and neglecting the old ones), but there's also other subbers like SUB48 who have been doing individual episodes instead of chronological order.

I'd say yes. They're quite short in any case and shed some light on AKB(INGO)'s history. 1ji is just 10 episodes, 0ji 26. There's quite a few scenes at least I wouldn't have wanted to miss, like Badboys' entry, cardboard Atsuko, the first Cosplay Battles, Meetan's V and so on. Since it's their first show, especially 1ji is still a bit "rough" but it's interesting to see the girls develop on camera IMO.
