4GB compressed only matters if you want to archive it. I only archive old games and great games. So 9GB installed is what matters. I could install 2-5 older full length games instead. Like that other guy said, you can always buy more HDDs/SSDs except I don't want to until I absolutely run out of space. So 9 gigs for a single VN is a lot. As someone who's actually read it unlike you, I'm satisfied with the contents of the game. 8 hours of length seems like the perfect amount for 1-heroine SoL romance.
The audio drama being in different format (the whole thing obviously being from her point of view, with tons of internal monologue) breathes in fresh air and works great as a sequel.

Writer gotta learn that your story needs to have some kind of meaning behind it. As likely as it may be for certain people to fail, if that is at the very end, where the last 5 minutes are about "it's okay to fail, let's do something else", the ratio is just completely fucked. That part needs to make up the majority of the story, if that's supposed to be the message and meaning behind the whole thing.
Writing a story just for everything to go nowhere.. is just blergh. What was even the meaning of all of that. That's important. That's not something you fit into 5 minutes after several hours of nothing. Kinda like you write a story about people fighting to find a way to save someone, and at the end it's "welp, it didn't work, let's do something else" and then credits roll.

Well, so far it was that tentacle scene up there that had some really visceral screams and voice acting - loved it. What I didn't love was when they filled up her helmet with literal vomit and excreta (吐瀉物) and she was about to drown in it.

The monster design of the C.C somehow reminds me of Metroids... Kurage-like creatures with tentacles that can lay eggs and spray fluids?

So far I look mostly out for Illyusha Petrovna. The other characters didn't really catch my interest yet. I wonder how much they will be involved in H-scenes.The concept of the mahou shoujos is that they get their powers once they get assaulted and inseminated/laid eggs in them by the monsters. I think this is a cheap device to provide the reader with as many h-scenes as possible without really earning them.

Other than that it's a bit lame, like a normal Mahou Shoujo setting with magic spells and powerful attacks. Obviously they can only flee because a few mahou shoujos should logically not be able to compete with a literal planet made out of C.C...

When they were back in the Cathedrale the whole "disinfection" was a nice touch but the males that were on board were so hella ugly. Also Metawo really puts emphasis on nationalities and nationality tropes. Most characters that aren't named are called smth like アシア系な戦士 or アフリカ系な少女 or even 黒人系... seems interesting to me.

Sadly only female characters ended up being voiced which is a shame because those sleazy, muscly blonde white guys would have probably made good villains and rapists.



Right now I stopped at the second h-scene which is probably forced insertion while the surrounding doctors experiment around with poor minori. In fact the way she stumbles/gets dragged into unfavourable H-scenes for her reminds me of the female protagonist in Alpha-Nighthawk... but could be just my imagination.

But hey, she fulfilled her dream and what she fought for. To follow the footsteps of her idol Rizetto or Reset or however you would romanize this.

Lastly, I don't think you should be shamed for using a texthooker. I didn't do it for the longest time and my japanese eventually just plateaued because the time you spend looking up manually can be supplemented with more reading. Also rare space words like "red dwarf" or "purgatory" can be looked up no problem.

Finally finished 恋愛、借りちゃいました.

The good:
Comedy writing was absolutely hilarious, and the common route is simply delightful due to all the gags that most of the time land very well. It just never gets old, and the comedy stuff continues into the heroine routes. Also, no drama, it's a moege.
Loved each of the heroines as well, especially Tenma, the ojou-sama type with a borderline yandere obsession with the protagonist, and Emi, who 張るs the 見栄 like no one's ever 張る'd before.

The bad:
The H-scenes are long, boring and there's a lot of them. The girls have ~5 H-scenes per route (+ 2 h-scenes for each of the two short side-routes that lead to a bad end), and that's roughly a third of the total route length. The bloody things just never end, and it would be fine if they were inventive with it, but it's 15 minutes of the most vanilla fucking imaginable and excessive moaning every single time. No fetishes, nothing.
Also, everyone has cowtits for whatever reason.

Shaon is a problem. It's not that I dislike him, but he's just soooo fucking bland it's unreal. The MC of Majikoi was a chad with a personality, and this guy is just... boring so far. The fact that he's not pro-active is what really drags the Empire arc down, imo. As some anon mentioned, it's not that the characters in general are bad, but the scenarios are dull and uninspired - which is mainly due to the lack of any genuine desires for Shaon. He's just a self-insert vehicle who gets dragged around or caught up in something, whips out his Tenken, and then it's over. It's just stomp-fests and boring asf SOL. I don't mind SOL if it's well-written and the characters have agency, but so far, every character is extremely shallow. I'm really hoping it picks up at some point, because I actually like the setting and can see the potential, I just feel that most of the time is spent on meaningess drivel. Unironically the best part for me so far was Anton, because he actually felt like an actual character with desires and hobbies. He has fears and doubrs himself, but he decides to train to get over them. Yeah, it's not much, but it's much better than everything else. He's a bro.

The jokes are getting stale as well. At this point I just want to get on with the next arc and out of this fucking city, in the hopes that the Erin and Kurone routes will address all the gripes I have with the writing so far.

I really disagree with the H-scenes. They were some of the best in moege. Not only is the art great, it has so much raburabu talk and kissing. On the other side of the spectrum, you have comedic H-scenes in the twins route. Plenty of diversity regarding positions, situations, including some special unusual ones like forcing Emi to masturbate at work, or patting Hasumi's (the girl you called by her family name like a retard) belly. If there's one single thing that bothers me in H, then it's the fucking bleep audio censor. Aside from that, Emi and Tsubaki had 10/10 defloration scenes. A true joy to read.
