/jp/, I have a bit of a problem. I have this person on my AIM friends list who I speak to a few times a month and see maybe twice or thrice a year in person. His birthday is coming up on Friday and he asked me if I'd come to the party. Being quick to go with things, I told him I would. Shortly afterwards, he said it was going to be a huge party "with a shitload of people", and I began to get worried. He keeps messaging me and telling me a little bit more information, more stuff that will be there, and I'm unsure if I want to really go. I like the guy, but I don't know the other people nor do I know how the other people will be. Will they try to pressure me into drinking? What about other drugs?

I'm honestly kind of scared. I want to remain as untainted by drugs and other things as possible. I like beer so I'll drink one, or two if the party is over five or six hours, hardly enough to not be sober.
