Yes, I am a normie. So? I dont see any problem. I embraced actually good games a time long ago and I am happy together with my girlfriend (who is a cute TF spy). We have a fucking lot of friends in and outside of the fandom and I am pretty slim and good looking.

Hahaha, you suck at life. My girlfriend and I play Melty Blood and PoFV every night. We also like to take turns destroying our scores in shmups together, doing both and being normal is indeed possible, you just have to be smart about it. I'm going to have a job where I'm earning $80K(currently $40K) a year in about three months, planning on buying a house, and I'm planning on getting married as well.

Oh, and I didn't have my mommy and daddy to pay me through to university. I had to work to pay off my debts.

Just play the fighting games, they're 10x easier and you can play online with your friends.

The fighting games are nowhere near easier if you actually plan on improving. They're much harder and much more soul crushing due to the fact that people online will mercilessly stomp you and call you very mean names. For IaMP, you'll even be banned if you aren't good enough, they're some hardcore motherfuckers.

Only bullies play fighting games and they're no fun for beginners. I remember playing it and reading tons of information what the hell these spellcards and weather effects are supposed to cause and trying to manage these air controls and combos. After 3 fights i became bored again. I would be more fun with simpler controls, like in Street Fighter 2: kick, punch, grab - that's it.

Don't do this. It's easiest but in ways that are bad, such as its huge deathbomb window, or flinging 1up and bomb items at you like candy. I'd strongly recommend persisting with a harder but simpler game like EoSD.

I've been playing touhou for close to three years, and have yet to beat any game on any difficulty. I've never played on anything less than hard though.

I'm very bad at video games. They say if you're not good at anything else, you're good at video games, but that just doesn't apply to me.

Normal people are really good at video games, most I've known have all sorts of talents IRL, so they apply to video games as well. Some guy I knew played for only 40 minutes to an hour per week and could still 1cc most Touhou games on Lunatic.

You could also try challenging yourself on Hard, or maybe trying a different controller.

I just don't understand video games. I lose interest quickly... unless the story involves lolis, or yaoi, or some sort of tradtional japanese references. I can't remember the last time I played a game that didn't involve one of those things.

I feel the same way about fighting games, I can naturally pick up any game and be good at it except fighting games for some reason. Theres probably some sort of concept i'm not getting with it.
