I believe you don't even consider the gender at all. Trying to present that notion, I took the chance to make characters who were nearly all of ambiguous gender. While I have other reasons, this is my primary one.

Stages are the worst i have ever seen but the boss patterns are pretty creative, unbalanced and broken, but still kind of fun. Dont play lenen with the same mindset as touhou, you WILL need to bomb/flashbomb

JynX posted something about a BPoHC Gold(?) at the anniversary video. I'm kind of excited for that since I love BPoHC even if its fucking irritating at times. Hope he fixes some stuff like Fumikado getting ruined or some spells being way too unfair like Para's and Kaoru's finals. Arcade mode would be great too since stage portions are boring and way too long

Present World Overhaul was the first piece of Len'en music I ever heard and it blew my fucking mind

Yeah, something about Len'en's music feels so 'raw' to me in comparison to ZUN's music, and perhaps the same could be applied to Len'en as a whole. There's undoubtedly less polish in comparison to Touhou, but subsequently it feels more visceral in the experience.
