I'm trying to get the first Umineko text-based novel game to work. I downloaded it, and I have the english patch.

However, when I run the setup, it just stops...
I found a guide on how to do it on linux, but not windows.

Can anyone help?

Afterwards, copy the folders from the iso into your game folder and overwrite (bgm, system_se, etc). Otherwise, you'll miss a lot of music.

You didn't download episode 1, right? Because if you did, you're fucked. Download episode 4.

No I downloaded ep 1, and a translation for ep one.

Nah, try it and see how you get on. Ep1 is kinda longwinded compared to the rest, but that's only because of the large number of characters that are introduced.

Yes you are, because there is no translation for episodes 1. Only for demoEP1, ep2, ep3 and ep4.
All later eps include the previous ones. The demo is the full episode one.
